These finishes are used to help with lots of things, Perforation is used on raffle tickets to separate the butt from the ticket, anything that needs to be separated can be perforated, voucher sheets are another good example. Slitting is used to split paper into two or more parts, more commonly, top slitting is used to create a tab to make peeling a sticker off more simpler. Creasing is great when used on uncoated stocks from 150gsm or coated stocks from 200gsm and thicker, the crease allows for easy and very accurate folding, we have 3 methods of creasing here, each has it’s own advantages/disadvantages we can use the most cost effect and/or best method for your project.
